UST Receives National Export AchievementAward
Albany, NY- Utility SystemsTechnologies (UST), a local manufacturer of power quality equipment wasrecognized today for its success in the international marketplace. The companywas presented with an Export Achievement Award from Congressman Paul Tonko andU.S. Department of Commerce officials. The award recognizes small andmedium-sized businesses for their exceptional export achievement. UST is currentlyexporting units for sale in several foreign countries, for use by both privateindustry and governmental entities. Presentlythey have product installed and operating in 27 countries.

UST is a manufacturer ofelectronic voltage regulators and sag mitigation devices that are designed toimprove and condition power quality for industrial applications and othercritical load applications where reliable power quality is essential. Thecompany’s products are marketed in several industries such as automotive,medical, oil & gas, food &beverage, and power generation. Otherapplications include government facilities, defense applications, and renewableenergy applications.
The company just finishedmanufacture of two of its SagFighter units which will be shipped to Brazil for useby the Ford Motor Company. It also recently received an order for 20 SureVoltvoltage regulators from the U.S. Department of State for use by embassies inChad and Tajikistan.
